Thanks to versatility and quick processing time they became one of the most popular among designers, sign makers, manufacturers and last but not least - creative individuals who need laser cutting or engraving techniques to turn into art. In our company we use a CO2 laser machine with 120W power which can provide a cost effective solution with excellent quality cutting results.
We can offer you some great drawing services and graphics design starting from £20+VAT or help you to decide on a suitable design of your own. Just get in contact with us for some advice.
Before we laser cut your project we double check your files if all will be cut correctly and if necessary we will contact you to get final approval.

Laser cutting is very versatile to work with many different materials.
You can find most common materials below.
If you have a specific one on your mind and would like to know if we would be able to cut it for you - please get in touch with us.
WE CAN NOT CUT METALS
Birch plywood and Poplar plywood
Laser grade plywood gives a cleaner finish than regular plywood which tends to use exterior glue which burns badly and gives a charred effect to the edge. For this reason, we use interior glue plywood which tends to have a much nicer, biscuit coloured edge when cut. As a standard, we back plywood to prevent burn marks, some sanding might be needed to give a more uniform finish.
Cutting and engraving plywood is often used for jewellery, signage, model making, artwork, toy making, furniture, window displays and much more.
Sheet size: 900x600mm, 600x400mm*
Thicknesses: 1.5*, 3, 4, 6, 9 and 12mm
Veneer MDF
MDF tends to cut fairly cleanly with a few burn marks which are easy to remove with light sanding.
It is a great material to use for prototyping, props and window displays as it is a low cost material that cuts well.
We can back with backing paper to reduce burn marks if a clean finish is required.
Sheet size: 1000x600mm
Thicknesses: 6mm
Cork sheets
Cork gives a charred effect to the edges when cut. As a standard, we back cork to prevent burn marks from both sides.
Cutting and engraving cork is mostly used for promotional items, placemats, coasters, artwork, model making and much more.
Sheet size: 940x600mm
Type: Finest grain cork
Thicknesses: 3mm
Clear acrylic / Perpex
Acrylic, often called Perspex, cuts beautifully cleanly. We cut it with its protected plastic film intact to prevent scratches. There is a wide variety of finish on the market - the sheets can be supplied as gloss, frosted, with glitter, marble look, transparent and fluorescent ones too.
Laser cutting acrylic is often used for applications such as jewellery, signage, model making and so much more.
Sheet size: 600x400mm, 1000x600mm
Thicknesses: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12mm
Coloured acrylic / Perspex
When engraving cast acrylic, it turns a lovely milky white colour and so doesn't show up so well on white acrylic, but looks stunning on black and other darker colours.
Sheet size: 600x400mm, 1000x600mm
Thicknesses: 3, 5, 10mm
Mirror acrylic * / fluorescent acrylic
Engraving mirrored acrylic works best when reversing the image and engraving it from the back - this way, the image shows through cleanly and it has more of a three dimensional feel to it.
Sheet size: 600x400mm, 1000x600mm
Thicknesses: 3mm*, 3mm and 5mm
Laser cutting ACRYLIC with adhesive tape
We can also cut acrylic and some other materials with the adhesive tape from the back side. This helps to reduce post processing time for a variety of projects - just peel and stick, simple as that.

Foam / Plastazote
We can cut all kinds of foam inserts for your needs - Whether you are looking for a bespoke one-off box insert or a large run for your packaging needs - we can help.
Laser cut foam inserts give a professional look and add stability and safety when packaging your product. Foam can also be engraved with very successful results. When laser cutting foam, the edge is sealed by the heat of the focused beam. The higher the density of the foam, the cleaner the cut will be.
Cutting and engraving foam is most often used for packaging inserts, model making and more. The kerf (the amount of material that is burnt off during the cutting process) will be around 1mm depending on the thickness.
